I'm a refugee from Live Journal who is reluctant to admit the ship is sinking.  I post most days - largely about my work.  Occasionally I have a bit of a feminist rant.

I write contemporary, literary fiction & am at present working on my third novel.

I'm interested in the writing process & would like to connect with writers who are serious about their craft, either published or not.

My reading tastes are varied & run the gamut from Alice Hoffman to Virginia Woolf.  I do not read fanfic, vampire horror stories, most YA or Fifty Shades of Grey.

Look forward to meeting some lovely, sensible, authentic people.

I'm reluctant to add people who have no bio. And I don't think you have read mine. ;) No offence, but I see no correlation between Christianity & a Goddess-centric path.

This isn't a judgement - just a realistic comment. You are very welcome to read my journal - maybe if you create a bio &/or begin to post regularly so we can get to know one another, I may change my mind.

My apologies - but - as you did read my bio you must have realised that I am unlikely to be a Christian. As I said - the fact that you clearly are isn't a judgement. And it isn't a matter of only accepting people on the same spiritual path - that is an assumption on your part. It's confusion.

For me - there appears to be no spiritual common ground between us. Your interests include seven references to Christianity & none whatsoever to Goddess!

However, as I said, my major reluctance to add you is because you have no bio. I don't know anything about you! Most people are reluctant to randomly add people who don't write something about themselves to give the rest of a clue.

It's no big deal - call it journaling etiquette. :)
