Quote from Anais Nin
Name: Destiny
Age: 26. Though I'll be 27 this year.
Location: Northern Louisiana
About Me: I started writing when I was around 10 years old though I'm sure I had always dreamed of doing it before then. I wrote intensely for awhile, but then I quit for almost ten years probably due to my ongoing battle with mental health issues. I picked writing back up in 2011 and excepting some interludes I've written steadily since then.
About My Journal: I use my journal as a sort of hodge podge of things. I've been known to post pictures (from selfies to paintings I'm viewing). I post a lot of music and my video post tag is usually used in conjunction with YouTube videos. They almost always have something to do with music. These days I use my journal to either analyze my relationships with the important people in my life or vent about the aforementioned mental health issues.
What I Write: My main output over the past months has been poetry. When I write fiction it's usually realism based. I like to write about relationships. These can include family, romantic, or friendship.
What I Don't Write: I don't really write journalism though it is something I would like to explore one day.
What I Read: Currently I've been reading a lot of nonfiction especially in relation to astrology, tarot, and numerology. My favorite genre is historical romance though I've been going through a bit of funk with it at the moment. I also love to read contemporary erotic romance.
What I Don't Read: I don't really read horror or science fiction though I would like to broach these genres one day.
Could I Edit Someone Else's Work: I would like to think so. I've become more confident in my editing skills, but I have issues with reading longer works.
