About Me: I like to make comics and write regular stories with text, but mostly comics (not rn though I injured myself from drawing too much!). I'm a weird person but I think it's one of my more fun traits. I tend to speak in a very straightforward way and I like anything that is some mixture of gross, cheesey or hopeful.

About My Journal: It's personal and part of my personal life is aspiring to be a creative, so you'll see some discussions of personal struggles, life and moments where I decide to post drawings or a story or something! I'm getting less shy about posting my works ^^

What I Write: Grossness, cheese, hopium... Genrewise, I like sci fi, comedy, action, and surrealism. I LOVE learning about genres and their subgenres within! I want to write horror some day as it is a genre I love to read.

What I Don't Write: Romance or super slice of life stuff. But I don't look down on those who do and I would still read my moot's slice of life romance stuff if they posted it.

What I Read: Basically what I write is what I read, alongside horror. Usually. I try to keep my media diet varied and to not dismiss something just because it isn't in a genre I usually go for.

What I Don't Read: Romance I guess, but again, I try not to dismiss anything just because it's not my usual thing.

Could I Edit Someone Else's Work: Nah.

I mostly post about:
Stories from my life — my thoughts and feelings, especially during this time of war in Ukraine. I try to capture emotions honestly: memories of a peaceful past, reflections on the present, and tales from my life as a mariner and traveler.
This journal is still in its early days, after a long break from writing. Each entry is posted in both English and the original language. I also share my own photographs — from different times, chosen to reflect my current mood.

My hobbies are:
Photography (almost professional), lomography (daily photos of interesting moments), music (acoustic, alternative, instrumental covers), psychology, and classical literature. I love discovering new things — ideas, places, people, sope psychology, discovering the World.

My fandoms are:
Honestly, I’m not active in any specific fandom. But I enjoy reading and learning, especially to improve my English.

I'm looking to meet people who:
…feel connected to what I write — kindred spirits or simply those who find meaning in my words. I’m open to everyone (with one exception: I don’t welcome those who support or excuse the war). My posts are open and honest. I’d love to find new interesting people to read and connect with.

My posting schedule tends to be:
Currently daily, or a few times a week — depending on my free time and possibility.

When I add people, my dealbreakers are:
No major dealbreakers — most of what matters is already said above.

Before adding me, you should know:
I’m an open person without any particular agenda. I’m Ukrainian — and perhaps that matters now, just to avoid misunderstandings.
Welcome aboard. These are my messages in a bottle.

Age: mid-30s

About Me: I'm the token extrovert in most of my social groups. I joined DW for specific reasons around 2021, I think, but then I forgot it existed for a couple years, and while my back was turned the people I'd befriended then vanished into the ether. I'm very motivated by social interaction, so this is a problem when I'm trying to get into the habit of blogging more. I have more pens that one person could ever reasonably use, truly dire ADHD, and a sense of humour best described as "ocker" (that's "extremely Australian", if you're not familiar).

About My Journal: I forget it exists a lot! Sometimes I yell about books I've read recently. Sometimes I talk about what I'm writing. Sometimes I make a half-assed attempt at a to-do list. I want to edit and post some stuff I wrote while I was off at a workshop last year, but life's been getting in the way.

What I Write: I have more experience as an editor than a writer, tbh, but I'm trying to correct that. I'm also really trying to spend time with my original work. Somewhere on AO3 there's a couple hundred thousand words across a couple dozen fandoms gathering dust. My focus right now is short sci fi and fantasy stories, with occasional dips into longer stuff. I'd love to write for games some day.

What I Don't Write: Splatterpunk/guro; grimdark of the "extreme bummer" variety. Other than that... I dunno. There's not much, probably. Some genres where it's not that I don't write it, just that I haven't yet.

What I Read: A bit of everything. Mainly SF&F because I'm trying to keep an eye on the market, but also romance, horror, slipstream, new weird, and occasionally I'll dip a toe in literary. I like fiction that isn't afraid to get a little weird. Currently my favourite book is probably The Spear Cuts Through Water by Simon Jimenez.

What I Don't Read: I was in and out of hospital for a bit with some surgeries, and the whole mess shot my focus. The only books I could get through were contemp romance and murder mysteries and occasional Lee Child-type thrillers, which I went through like pringles. I must've read about fifty of them in a matter of weeks. Anyway, those genres and I are firmly on a break. I'll come back to them one day, but not right now. Also, I passionately despise A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara.

Could I Edit Someone Else's Work: Maybe. Really depends on you and the work, and what you want out of it. My approach as an editor is extremely blunt - not mean, mind you. I'm not going to be unpleasant, but I'm not going to politely ignore problems. Some people are not used to this.

I mostly post about: Short fiction, largely cosmic horror, sci-fi, and experimental/non-narrative fiction. Some light media analysis as well.

My hobbies are: Reading, writing, birdwatching.

Favorite Books: Dictionary of The Khazars, Fictions, House Of Leaves, The Inner Side of The Wind, A Scanner Darkly, The Canti

Favorite Movies: Noroi, Stalker, Dead Man's Letters, Angel's Egg

I'm looking to meet people who: Are also writers, or share some of my taste in books and movies.

My posting schedule tends to be: Total chaos, whenever I feel like writing about a book or film, or whenever I manage to finish a story.

Before adding me, you should know: I hope you like depressing horror short stories.

I mostly post about: Media I’m interested in (including that which I plan to make), personal matters, my mind’s machinations in general

My hobbies are: Gaming, writing (including blogging as of now, I guess)

My fandoms are: Pokémon, Sonic the Hedgehog, Megami Tensei, My Little Pony, the Nasuverse, Marvel, DC, and more (mostly in the realm of animanga and video games)
Favourite Movies: Jurassic Park, Mean Girls
TV Shows: Ted, The Looney Tunes Show, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
Books: Jurassic Park, Raptor Red
Games: Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, RimWorld, Hades
Comics/Anime/Misc: Lucky☆Star, Jujutsu Kaisen, A Certain Scientific Railgun, Kemono Friends, Ghost Stories (yes, that dub), Sequential Art (webcomic), Aware (webcomic), ProfessorViral (YouTuber), Super Eyepatch Wolf (YouTuber), Dragon Ball Z Abridged (TeamFourStar @ YouTube) Sword Art Online Abridged (Something Witty Entertainment @ YouTube), Fate/stay night UBW Abridged (Project Mouthwash @ YouTube)

I'm looking to meet people who: Share my superior tastes, mostly—but in general, I’m up to try and click with anyone who will validate humor me

My posting schedule tends to be: No planned schedule, but I should be able to muster something new every week or two—and I’ll more or less always be down to shoot shit (via comment threads and/or PMs) in the meantime

When I add people, my dealbreakers are: Not that I’d want to invoke the term ‘anti’ (I don’t think it’d be worth associating myself with some of the cognitive dissonance I’ve seen against such), but…I’m only, like, quarter-joking at most when I call myself an edgelord/degenerate, so keep that in mind (By that same token, though, minors need not apply)

Before adding me, you should know: See above about the whole ‘degen’ thing—though on that note, my profile at time of posting should be a fair enough ‘warning’, methinks

About Me: I'm a rather silly guy, I'd say; just your local disabled queer with a tendency to talk a lot! I consider myself an artist, writer, and a self-defined "general enthusiast". A fandom geek who uses "I am cringe, but I am free" as my personal life's motto, so expect accordingly!
About My Journal: My journal is public, and I don't make locked posts. I journal about my fandoms, my interests, and my personal life! I additionally post all of my writing here. If you're looking for my fannish writing specifically, it's all crossposted to [personal profile] fairyfic. I'm going to be posting a lot about Rough Draft Month (an alternative to NaNoWriMo) throughout November!

What I Write: I write fanfiction, meta, and essays on topics that interest me! In terms of fanfic, I consider myself someone who specializes in gen and M/M works, with themes of queerness, disability and mental health.
What I Don't Write: I don't write any original fiction at the moment, but I may try my hands at it someday! I'm also far too private to post smut publicly.

What I Read: Basically, the same stuff that I write! And I also love digging my teeth into some poetry.
What I Don't Read: Fiction which has pedophilic and incestuous relationships depicted positively are a 'no' for me. I'm also, again, far too private to interact with smut publicly.

About me: I've been online since I was a young weirdo, and now I have become an elder weirdo. I'm one of the folks who got my start over on Livejournal, actually, and then had to emigrate when it went to shit. I've had a Dreamwidth ever since. Even though I'll float around to other sites for a while, this is the stable foundation of my internet presence and I will try (keyword: try) to copy the posts and things that matter most to me over here for posterity.

I'm in Fandom, capital F, because even when I'm not in a particular fandom, I am still hanging out with people who are, participating in the culture and community and all that. At the moment, I am between fandoms, unless you count friends' original characters and settings (the ultimate small fandoms!). Although truthfully I almost never completely fall out of them. Perennial favorites include Doctor Who, Sherlock Holmes, Devil May Cry, Farscape, Star Trek, Star Wars (I mostly lurk the original series although some of the recent series have given me the tingle), Coldfire Trilogy, Trigun, Hannibal, Transformers... An incomplete list.

I get into book fandoms a lot. I am also a huge fan of some things I'm not in fandom about, such as Lord of the Rings, Quantum Leap, Babylon 5, My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer and a wide variety of other TV shows and anime and yet more books and comics.

And gardening, and birds. Especially parrots. I have a box of bulbs that just arrived that needs planting this weekend. Also libraries, and social media. I believe in preserving culture for the future, but also that people deserve control of their own information. I believe in a decentralized internet and I actively support small and startup platforms like Dreamwidth, Pillowfort and Neocities, the indieweb and federation.

About My Journal:  Fandom, personal life, gardening, birds, whatever is on my mind. Somehow recently not my writing. I have been writing! I have a whole bunch of short stories I could and should AND WILL copy over here. Any minute now.

I do vanish for fairly long periods sometimes, when I get distracted by shinies elsewhere. But I come back eventually.

What I Write: Historically, a lot of fanfiction. Lately I've been working more on my own original stories, though. Usually queer/genderqueer. I like fantasy, scifi and horror--that speculative fiction goodness. I write sex (often weird), and violence, sometimes together, and I like getting deep into my characters' heads and exploring their inner worlds and the dark corners of them and their worlds. The monsters scratching at the door of the mental basement. Also sometimes monsters outside the characters' heads. And then sometimes I write fluffy cute stuff. Mostly short, though. God I want to finish a novel but I can't seem to get past about 12k words.

What I Don't Write: Novels, apparently. Coffee shop AUs. Normal life or anything that makes me dwell too much on the actual world we have, because I live here full time as it is.

What I Read: A lot of the same things I write. And novels. I have a stack of nonfiction I keep meaning to break into and getting distracted from but conceptually I do enjoy a good book about interesting facets of history, how birds think, the secrets of soil, black holes, that kind of thing.

What I Don't Read: A lot of the same things I don't write. And my TBR pile I GUESS.

Could I Edit Someone Else's Work: Sometimes! I am, not to toot my own horn, a pretty kickass beta reader, but in recent times I haven't had the spoons for it very much. Hopefully I'll get them back because I find it a wonderful opportunity for friendship and mutual growth.

Howdy!

Age: Nearly 40!

Location: USA East Coast

About Me: I'm an enby parent who lives with my son (7) and partner... I deal with bipolar and probably what's high functioning autism, but I feel like I'm in a really good place as far as all that. I'm spiritual (nondual spirituality, I really like Ram Dass) but have zero interest in converting anyone - I just want to transform myself into a kinder, more loving person. I'm trying to get myself to write more, I've written a few novels, most of which only I've read and that's fine - I write for me. But I am interested in finding a way to freely self-publish like maybe an e-book of some stuff just to make some stuff free and easy to read for people I know and anyone else interested, I dunno. I try to be silly as much as possible because life feels way too serious way too often.

About My Journal: It's very newly set up, but I see myself posting most days like I have been so far and like I did aeons ago when livejournal was better and then later when greatestjournal still existed. I just write about life in the few entries so far, but easily see myself also reviewing books I read, talking about just stuff in society, just having fun with it. I may post some writing there but I don't know yet, although if I ever do find somewhere to make work easily, freely, and publicly accessible I'm sure I'd share it for anyone who may be interested.

What I Write: I tend to lean toward horror and weird dark stuff and scifi. I'm not so much into realistic horror (as in "ahh murderer!") but stuff with bizarre, scifi, or supernatural elements. The last novel I wrote was a horror/scifi with aliens, with some Buddhism mixed in.

What I Don't Write: I'm willing to try most things if the idea naturally unfolds and that's what the story tells me it needs to be (I'm a discovery writer)... I don't write erotica. For the most part I stick to the stuff listed above.

What I Read: It depends on what my fixation is at the time - everything from Star Wars/Doctor Who novels, to contemporary horror or scifi novels, to historical or spiritual nonfiction.

What I Don't Read: Romance, Historical Fiction, Fantasy - it's not that I'm not willing to it's just it's either rarely or never been what I've been reading in the past few years. That can change, too.

Could I Edit Someone Else's Work: I don't know how good I am or am not at editing but I'm certainly willing and happy to try, if someone asks for help, to provide what help I can!

About Me: I'm a 35-year-old lesbian who lives in Sydney with my lovely wife. I'm very fond of history (especially of girls, women, LGBT+ communities, people of colour, migrant communities, children and families). I also love all kinds of scary movies, coming of age narratives, embroidery, karaoke and museums.

About My Journal: I've only just started my journal, but I'd like to use it as a place to enthuse about the things I love (like books, movies, television and nostalgic things), as well as to reflect on the writing and research process.

What I Write: The young adult novel I'm working on is an ensemble comedy-drama set in the early 2000s. In the future, I'd love to write the three H's: humour, horror and historical fiction.

What I Don't Write: I don't write straightforward romance (although I do incorporate romantic narratives into my stories) or high fantasy.

What I Read: In terms of work for adults, I love Grady Hendrix, Daniel Kraus, Jude Ellison S. Doyle, Sarah Waters, Carmen Maria Machado, Greg Jenner, Sarah Miller and Emily Carroll. My favourite kids'/YA authors are Robin Klein and Jacqueline Wilson (primarily her older stuff). Throughout my life, Klein and Wilson have been instrumental in shaping my authorial voice.

What I Don't Read: I feel a bit alienated by stories where the characters are all self-actualised and therapised up to their eyeballs, and where marginalised identities have no bearing on the plot. To each their own, I personally just find it interesting and cathartic when characters' identities shape how they interact with the world, at least to some extent.

Could I Edit Someone Else's Work: Certainly! I'm a pretty good editor. I would be most interested in exchanging crit with another writer.

Blue, on the internet at least

Age:
late 30s

Location:
Eastern Standard Time, US

About Me:
I’m a long-time fandomy person who’s sort of moved away from the Big Media Franchises over the past few years and has gravitated toward other stories. I’m currently in an MFA program in writing for children and young adults, and I have been known to teach history classes to middle schoolers. I also like reading Tarot. I’m aroace with a healthy helping of relationship anarchy, and was fairly recently diagnosed with ADHD, autism, and anxiety.

About My Journal:
I’m a bit of a refugee from Other Parts of the Internet, and am trying to join the Web 1.0 revival. I’m trying to make a habit of updating more regularly, but it’s a mix of daily life and fandom stuff.

What I Write:
I like to write stories informed by queerness, disability, and neurodivergence. I like messy characters and dramatic situations. I especially enjoy female characters and various ships fandom is cranky about—the crankier they are, the more it makes me want to write them. Right now most of my fanfic is for Young Royals, whereas my original fiction tends to be historical YA, often with found media and verse interludes. The most recent settings I’ve worked in for original fic were Sweden and Finland during WW2, and Ancient Rome during the Caesar assassination.

What I Don't Write:
I will give most things a try, just to see if I can write them, but I’m not really interested in writing original fiction for adults right now. I don’t tend to write a lot of second world fantasy or high fantasy. I do like romance, but I’m not interested in writing romance that’s like… overly amatonormative? It helps to see characters have relationships in their life other than the relationships with their romantic partners. I like love stories better when they aren’t idealized.

What I Read:
I love character-driven stories with exciting and defined arcs! I read YA of all genres and varieties. Nina LaCour, Adib Khorram, and Malinda Lo are some of my favorite authors. I enjoy a good sapphic historical romance (especially Olivia Waite) and sapphic contemporary is fun too. On the adult side, I enjoy Susanna Clarke and Tana French.

What I Don't Read:
I will read lots of things. Although I tend to avoid most Greek myth adaptations (with a few exceptions) because I was a classics major and it’s hard for me to switch that part of my brain off. Also see comments above as far as I want romance to feel realistic and not overly idealized. I’m probably not the best reader for your Love Conquers All fairy tale.

Could I Edit Someone Else's Work:
Sure! I have to be able to fit it into my schedule, but I really enjoy beta-ing someone’s work and helping them develop their ideas. I am a total craft nerd, and love talking about stuff like point of view, character voice, story structure, etc. Admittedly I am crap at proofreading, so I’m better as a story-planning beta/sounding board than as someone who will catch your comma splices. Certain parts of the year are better than others for me due to my teaching job. But let me know if you ever want to chat about your stories!

About Me:
I'm a queer person from Ohio that's in their mid-30s, who works from home in the lovely world of insurance and car rentals. I'm a video game nerd, and sometimes talk about games on my journal. I'm also Jewish, and it's a big part of my identity. I also help take care of my mom, who is going through another battle with pancreatic cancer after being in remission for two years.

About My Journal:
My journal is a mix of posts about my life, links to fanfiction updates, yelling about my fandom, and sharing pics of the late, great Paul Reubens, because he's sexy. I also do write about my mental health issues and things, but I will try to put them under a cut if needed. My profile and sticky about post can tell you more, if you wish to read those.

What I Write:
Fanfiction. Some for TV shows/movies, and some about actors and musicians.

What I Don't Write:
Hmm... I don't think there is much that I don't write. I know I don't write a lot of sci-fi anymore since leaving the Star Trek fandom.

What I Read:
A little bit of everything.

What I Don't Read:
Fanfics where you can tell people are just trolling.

Could I Edit Someone Else's Work:
I could, sure, but I really don't have the time for it with work and life.

About Me:
I'm a queer, 30 year old Canadian author with a few short stories in small publications and some self-published books. I'm also a proud nerd and love D&D, though I haven't had much time to play in recent years.

About My Journal:
Still figuring it out! At the moment, I'm using my blog to crosspost/archive writing content from my Tumblr, and to hopefully find community with other writers. I used to be on LJ back when I was a teen, so there's also a nostalgic factor to coming back to a site like this.

What I Write:
Primarily contemporary fantasy, though I also have some idea floating around for higher fantasy and contemporary romance. I also do some nonfiction work, mostly in the form of essays and long form reviews.

What I Don't Write:
Thriller, horror, mystery, not likely to delve into sci-fi, not big on literary fiction.

What I Read:
Fantasy, lighter sci-fi, contemporary fiction, romance (especially contemporary romcoms), some non-fiction.

What I Don't Read:
Pretty much the same as what I don't write.

Hey! I'm Adrian, 26, and I live in the UK. I'm a semi-pro SFFH writer; i.e. I've sold a couple of short stories to a few small magazines and am very much a wee ickle baby, ha.

I also am fannish, with an emphasis on the -ish; I write a lot of fanfic, but wouldn't really describe myself as "involved" in fandom outside of reblogging pretty art.

About My Journal: As you can see by my public posts, I talk about music/writing/videogames/books. Writing is basically 70% of my life :'D (and I work full time).
My access-only posts do involve some discussion of writing, but are mainly just introspective journal entries for my own sake. I generally work on an access-for-access basis, but I'm also 100% down to subscribe to someone without giving or getting access in return.

What I Write: Queer sci-fi and horror! I'm currently floating about a novel idea about eldritch space sci-fi horror--with lesbians. Fanfic-wise, I ship many things, but I'm mainly interested in writing stuff that's plot-heavy.

What I Read: Basically anything! Big bias towards SFFH, for obvious reasons, as well as LGBT+ fiction--but I'm also down to read YA, poetry, literary fiction, historical fiction, non-fiction... I've never read a screenplay before? But that doesn't mean I wouldn't, just that I haven't. I'm not a smut writer but I have huge admiration for smut writers. I like F/M, F/F, and M/M pairings equally. I'm totally fine with kink and dead dove/idk what the kids are calling it these days; I just ask that the latter be tagged/under a cut so I can avoid it if required.

Could I Edit Someone Else's Work: Yes! I studied English and creative writing at uni, so am fairly versed in critiquing. I do, however, operate generally on a crit-for-crit basis and also probably wouldn't crit something I don't have good understanding of (e.g. poetry, not because I think it's bad, but because I'm nowhere near a poet).

To be entirely honest, I'm just looking for other writers to hang out with! Even if you write something in a genre I don't or write fic in a fandom I'm not in, that doesn't matter; I just miss being around other writers.

Feel free to comment here or subscribe if you think we'd be a good fit. :-)

About Me: I like writing and reading fanfic, very occasionally, fiction books, I can be either friendly or snob, as they say, sometimes i really don't know how to interact with people despite being a "people-person", this is my first time using this website so i'm still moving around trying to understand how stuff works

About My Journal: As i have absolutely no knowledge how to use this one, hopefully to post the fanfic I wrote that never ended up being published to AO3, unfinished fanfics I have no hopes for finishing it, and maybe some rants? not sure yet.

What I Write: Fanfiction, mostly. I'm a Multifandom writer, my fandom list slowly growing every time I discover something I very much liked.

What I Don't Write: I have no idea how to write nsfw, at all.

What I Read: Again, fanfiction, sometimes mythology, a bit of horror stories, and the occasional dead dove

What I Don't Read: very disturbing stories, like rape/non-con ones, high-level-creepy-stuff

About Me: Hi! I'm a food obsessed, queer recluse who's trying to detach from more mainstream social media, because they're kind of bluh. I've been writing since I was a wee nerd, but I've always had a hard time finding a community with regards to writing. I'm hoping that having more writing friends will give me some enthusiasm back for writing, because my writer's block has been beating me down for years. My hobbies include sewing, knitting, crochet, cosplay and other various crafts and fiber arts. I love animals, and foster orphaned kittens from time to time.

About My Journal: This journal is specifically for writing with less inhibition, and as such is completely disconnected from my other forms of social media. Purity culture has been extremely damaging to my self esteem and my muse, and honestly I feel like the solution is to get... Messy? with my writing? I genuinely love dark, edgy, kinky fiction, including stuff that antis describe as wholly immoral, but I've always felt guilty for writing it myself. I think this inhibited approach to writing has caused my writer's block to grow, because I haven't been able to write everything that I've imagined or craved. I want to write the things that titillate me, I want to have a healthier relationship to my sexuality and fantasy life, and I think the best first step for me is by writing smut. Aside from that, I'll definitely do a lot of diary/journalling on here, including talking about my cosplay and sewing projects.

What I Write: I write fanfiction for a few different fandoms when the bug bites me, but mostly I write original fiction. I'm giving most of my big projects some room to breathe right now, and instead I'm giving a very silly, indulgent romance/erotica fantasy isekai thing.

What I Don't Write: Nonfiction? I mean, it's not a hard limit for me, I just haven't had an opportunity to try it out and see what I like about it.

What I Read: I'll give pretty much anything a shot, but for enjoyment right now it's mostly smut.

What I Don't Read: See above.

Could I Edit Someone Else's Work: I could, depending on if it interests me or not, what kind of edits someone is looking for and so on.

Name: Arwen

Age: 21+

Location: east coast Australia

About Me: I'm a Scots-Australian linguistic major by day and a poet/writer/general wordwrangler by night, with a penchant for milky coffee and the best words in the best order. After seeing the toll that "traditional" publishing had on the person I love the most in the world, I've become a little leery of it and have dropped "being [properly] published" as a goal, but I don't judge anyone who does or wants to be at all! It's just not my cup of tea. My main goal is to get the majority of my projects online on my portfolio site and give readers the option of supporting me via donations or buying self-published (e)books (and audiobooks).

About My Journal: idle thoughts about writing, fandom, and daily life. Stuff of a slightly more personal nature is locked, but those posts tend to be infrequent so nobody is accidentally bored to death.

What I Write: confessional poetry, English-language tanka/haiku (and yes, I know that's technically not possible, but until I can come up with a better term...), urban fantasy, high fantasy, magical realism, and I've been working on a mahou-shoujo/xianxia project for the majority of my life. Everything I write tends to be unapologetically queer or embracing unconventional love on some level. ♥ (And I'm a slave to the Earn Your Happy Ending trope, I'll admit.)

What I Don't Write: I don't think there's anything I wouldn't at least attempt once, actually...🤔

What I Read: pretty much everything except instapoetry. Fiction, non-fiction, modern, historical, any genre, you name it. As long as a story can pull me in, that's what matters to me! However, I do have a particular penchant for dreamier kinds of introspective lit (Yoshimoto Banana and Murakami Haruki being two excellent examples) and high fantasy (doesn't even have to be quality! Show me a dragon and I'm gone.)

What I Don't Read: again, there's nothing really I go out of my way to avoid apart from instapoetry, but admittedly I do find myself less inclined to read non-queer fiction these days, but I wouldn't say that I eschew it outright or anything -- just that it'll always be pushed further down my to-read list than anything queer (or squint-and-it's-queer, if you know what I mean).

Could I Edit Someone Else's Work: currently, only short pieces or fanfic under 7~10K words, due to health and offline commitments, but maybe this might change in the future!
